Dear Friend,

Happy Quinceañera - a very important birthday for a young Guatemalan!  This month CoEd turns 15 and we want to celebrate with YOU! Beginning with one classroom of students in 1996, CoEd has impacted more than 100,000 in the years since - and we want to thank you for your support during that time.
You have made this milestone possible and we thank you in advance for helping thousands more kids in the years to come!
Fall Fiesta Is Almost Here!

Sunset Over Lake Atitlan

Fall Fiesta 2011: Sunset Over Lake Atitlán is quickly approaching and tickets are selling fast! Remember to send back your RSVP card or purchase tickets online by September 30th to get tickets for $65 each.  After the deadline, tickets will be available for $80 each.  Reserve your seat today!

Can't make it to the event? You can still take part in the fun by purchasing a Luxury Raffle ticket - you could win a trip to Aspen, Colorado! You do not need to be present to win. Learn more on our website.

See you on October 15th!

Celebrate 15 years by attending a Project Tour in 2012!

Since Project Tours began in 1998 with one Rotarian traveling to Guatemala, 571 supporters have traveled with CoEd!  On the August 2011 Snapshot Tour,  27 volunteers traveled across borders to meet the students who benefit from YOUR support.  Travelers interacted with and learned from students in the Textbook, Computers, Culture of Reading (CORP), and Scholarship programs - like these young girls from Chuacorral.  Follow their adventure in a short slideshow of the week's journey.

New Dates for 2012 Project Tours:

Become part of the adventure in 2012 on a Snapshot Tour from February 21-26 or July 24-29 or on the Guatemala Literacy Project (GLP) Tour* from February 3-12.

Sign up today and help continue the legacy of Project Tours!

*The GLP Tour is open to members of Rotary International and their spouses.

Save the Date!

Executive Director Joe Berninger will be speaking at Benchmark Outfitters in Cincinnati, OH on September 29, 2011 at 6:30pm.  Hear how Joe's solo trip around the world hijacked his corporate career plans and landed him in Guatemala with CoEd! All are welcome. No RSVP required.
