What will my donation do?
Text the word BOOK to 20222 to donate $5 to help put a textbook into the hands of a Guatemalan child.
How does it work?
A one-time donation of $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Standard messaging rates and additional fees may apply. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Service is available on most carriers. Donations are collected for the benefit of Cooperative for Education by the Mobile Giving Foundation and subject to the terms found at www.hmgf.org/t.

What steps do I need to take?
- Using your cell phone, text the word BOOK to 20222.
You will receive a text back that says “To confirm your $5 donation to CoEd, reply with the word YES. Terms at hmgf.org/t reply HELP for help Reply STOP to cancel. Msg&Data Rates May Apply”- Reply to that text with another text that says “Yes” to confirm the donation.

How will you use my $5 donation?
Your $5 donation will help put a textbook into the hands of a Guatemalan child. In the unlikely event that the funds raised by the campaign exceed the amount required for the textbook program, then Cooperative for Education may use the donation in similar areas of extreme need within the organization.
Does my cell phone have to be from a certain vendor?
Most major carriers participate, including:

How will I be billed?
The $5 will show up on your next cell phone bill.
How many times can I donate?
You may text BOOK to 20222 up to six times per month (depending on your carrier) to donate $5 to CoEd each time. If you would like to donate more, please consider giving by credit card online.
Does this text donation campaign expire?
Yes. All text donations must be completed before September 30, 2010.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. You can request a receipt at www.mobilegiving.org/SMS_Donations or simply use your cell phone bill as a receipt.
