Dream: I would like to study tourism or bilingual administration. I like to study English and I know that it is an important tool to find work nowadays.  

Biography: I stopped going to school because my parents couldn’t afford for me to continue my studies; but I never stopped learning. I was a good student because I did my homework and did everything possible to complete my assignments on time. My dream is to be able to study Tourism and Hospitality or Bilingual Administration, because I like English class and I know it’s a fundamental tool to find work. I have four siblings. My brother dropped out of school because he did not pass the elementary level, and our parents did not have the means to enroll him to repeat the studies. My two little sisters are still not old enough to attend school. My father studied only until sixth grade, and my mother only until third grade. My parents are farmers, and work from 8 am to 6 pm every day. They generally sow their own land, but when there are no crops, they work the land of others. My mother works with my father in the fields, but not every day, because she takes care of the home as well. I also help my father in the fields. I wanted to return to my studies last year, but my father and my older brother are deep in debt, so it wasn’t possible. Without a scholarship from CoEd, I will not be able to resume my studies this year either, and I will continue to help my parents in the fields.
